Our project

Haptic Feedback

Our goal is to create a way to feel more of the environment through the means of additional lightweight equipment to provide haptic feedback

Modular System

The end goal for our Haptic System is a fully modular and expandable system to allow users to customise their levels of feedback to their liking.

Virtual Reality

We aim to introduce our system as an addition to Virtual Reality technology to provide more immersive experiences for all users, allowing you to truly get lost in the virtual environments you discover.

Meet The Team

HapticsModule consists of 2 team members - Tom Maddox and Ben Wickenden. Both team members are students at the University of Plymouth, where the team formed for a third year module.

Tom is studying Computing & Games Development, and specialises in Website Design and Server-Side Scripting. He works mostly in PHP, JavaScript / jQuery, MySQL and is no stranger to the Bootstrap HTML framework. Tom is also an avid gamer and tech enthusiast.

Ben is studying Robotics, and is the perfect man for the job (if you don't mind a good ol' bodge!).
